The highly anticipated, Netflix-produced third season of Cobra Kai has finally Karate-chopped its way onto the service, and does it ever deliver! Picking up right after the second season’s huge cliffhanger finale, the students of Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do are more divided than ever, with tensions boiling over thanks to the villainous John Kreese (Martin Kove), who seems intent on causing anarchy within the Valley. Will Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny (William Zabka) be able to put aside their differences in order to take Kreese down?

History of Swear Words (05/01/2021)

Join host and noted obscenity-screaming enthusiast Nicolas Cage in this brand new Netflix Original series which aims to dive deep into the origins of our favourite swear words. It probably goes without saying that this is a strictly ‘adults only’ affair – check out the trailer above to find out what the show has in store.

Riverdale: Season 5 (21/01/2021)

Last season was unceremoniously cut short thanks to the arrival of Covid-19, but fear not – Riverdale: Season 5 is almost upon us, and will spend its first episodes tying up last season’s loose ends. After that, all bets are off as the show will change things up in a massive way – a huge time jump will see the show’s story pick up seven years later, so don’t expect this season to delve into the gang’s college years.

Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer (13/01/2021)

If last month’s true crime docuseries The Ripper wasn’t enough for all you self-described ‘murderinos’, Netflix has you covered – Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer follows the gruesome exploits of Richard Ramirez, a notorious Satan-worshiping serial killer who terrorised Los Angeles in the mid-1980s.

This heart-wrenching drama finds a young couple (Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf) struggling to move on following the death of their newborn. There’s a lot of awards buzz around this one, particularly for Kirby’s searing performance.
