Want to add HBO Max to your Hulu subscription? Get it for just $2.99 per month this Black Friday
There’s an avalanche of Black Friday streaming deals out there to be taken advantage of, but for Hulu subscribers looking to add a little extra to their viewing arsenal, this HBO Max bargain is hard to beat.
Of course, we have no idea what the future holds for the prestige streamer, with owners Warner Brothers currently being shopped around with various suitors rumored to be interested in acquiring the legendary studio. Should such a merger take place, it’s likely the HBO Max we know could change, but all of that is probably a long way off, so it’s still definitely worth investing in this rock-bottom deal.
Usually, adding HBO Max to your Hulu subscription is going to set you back $9.99 per month (for the ad-supported tier offered here), so being able to subscribe for a full year and pay just $2.99 each term is an absolute steal, offering you around 70% off. But just bear in mind this offer is only valid until December 1, so if you’re tempted, don’t hang about.
What’s included with HBO Max?

HBO Max is ranked among the best streaming services for a reason, with some of the best shows of all time calling the streamer home alongside a constant stream of new arrivals that have critics and audiences raving.
In terms of back catalogue, you’re looking at stone cold classics like Band of Brothers, The Wire, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, Sex and the City, The Leftovers, Deadwood and more alongside more recent hits such as House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, The Last of Us, And Just Like That, Euphoria, The Gilded Age, Peacemaker and the currently airing IT spin-off Welcome to Derry. Comedy fans aren’t left out either with the likes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, How To with John Wilson, 2 Dope Queens and The Righteous Gemstones and The Rehearsal all calling HBO Max home.
And the future is looking equally bright, with plenty of returning seasons for the mega-hits, as well as new Westeros spin-offs — starting with A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms early next year — the hotly-anticipated Harry Potter TV adaptation and DC superhero show Lanterns.
When the network used to claim “it’s not TV, it’s HBO,” they meant it, and being able to bag unlimited streaming of some of the GOATs as well as a plethora of the best current TV out there all for under $3 a month is a steal. And with plenty on the slate for 2026, this is an offer fans of prestige TV won’t want to miss.
