Update Tuesday, April 25th, 2:05am ET: The 27th Annual Webby Award winners have been announced, and The Verge is taking home THREE Webbys this year!

This was a record-breaking award season with over 14,000 entries and 2.5 million votes cast. In addition to our People’s Voice wins, we are also Webby Winners, meaning that our work ranked in the top 4 percent of work judged by the Webby Academy. (Woo!) Thank you all so much for the support. We can’t wait to go on stage and share our five-word speech in just a few weeks in NYC!

Apr 18th, 2023, 7:30AM ET: The 27th annual Webby Award season is upon us, and this year, The Verge has been nominated in three categories! This is basically a run for the “Best on the Internet” — and after hearing the Webbys received nearly 14,000 entries, it’s pretty exciting to be nominated.
