Skip the rest – these are the best early Black Friday gaming laptop deals, plus some solid advice to save you cash
Thinking about picking up a gaming laptop for Black Friday? No doubt you’re currently inundated with the various early sales that several major retailers are already running. Even though we’re a few weeks out from the big day itself, official Black Friday deals can be found at Currys, Dell, and other decent laptop retailers.
Which should you go for, though? Well, first of all, there’s no need to rush into a purchase, as there’s plenty of time – and deals – to consider today. I’ve been tirelessly scanning through all the best retailers to find the top value choices today, and I’ve seen some fantastic choices.
I’ve laid them out just down below, alongside an overview of today’s sales and some buying tips if you are picking something up early. I’ve made sure to include the tricks I rely on as someone who covers gaming laptop deals year-round.
While you’re here, make sure you check out our handy live blog of the best Black Friday deals to shop now. Also see our main Black Friday page for other spotlights, roundups, and recommendations.

Should you buy now? Here are my tips

- Know exactly what you need
- Check for price guarantees
- Research price history, if possible
I’ve laid out a few points above under the assumption you already know what level of gaming laptop you’re going for. If you have no idea about what specs you need, then definitely check out our best gaming laptops buyer’s guide, which includes an extensive “how to choose” section that lays out exactly what you should be looking for.
If you have a solid idea of what to buy, then the standard advice for buying Black Friday deals early applies here. First up, I always make sure to check that there are solid price guarantees in place at the retailer so I don’t get undercut down the line. Of the retailers featured on this page, Currys has a full Black Friday price guarantee, Dell has a 30-day guarantee, and Lenovo has a 14-day guarantee. Laptops Direct, however, doesn’t have anything that I can find – although I think it’s unlikely they’ll undercut their current prices dramatically now.
Another thing I usually check is whether a product is at a record-low price. That can be tricky for some retailers, but as TechRadar’s retail editor, I usually keep my own records for reference. I’ve double-checked everything on this page, but if you’re doing your own shopping this November, it’s worth doing a proper Google Search for the product in question, as many editorial sites run news stories on deals – like the one I wrote earlier this year on the Asus TUF A15.
