I changed one of my starter words today, swapping “ramen” for “raven” in an attempt to tackle my letter V problem (I either forget about it or overuse it).
V is the 22nd most common letter in 5-letter words, so it seems pretty silly to include it – but it sort of paid off today, helping me solve VALID earlier than I might have.
That said, the loss of the letter M made it harder to guess SWAMP, so it’s all swings and roundabouts.
