Google’s 4K-ready Chromecast has returned to its Cyber Monday price
I don’t know about you, but now that I’m finally starting my holiday shopping, I’m kicking myself for not taking advantage of all those great Cyber Monday deals. Yet, while many of the best have since disappeared, one of our favorites has luckily just resurfaced. Right now, you can buy the Chromecast with Google TV (4K) for around $37.98 from Amazon, Best Buy, and Target, which was a new all-time low first set during Black Friday.
If you’re looking for something budget-friendly, we think this streaming device is one of the best on the market. For less than $40, you’re getting a 4K-ready device with Dolby Atmos support, along with a remote that lets you find content with voice via Google Assistant. Unlike others in this price range, the Chromecast with Google TV (4K) also offers software that rounds up recommendations from your favorite streaming services, making it easy to quickly find something good to watch.
Want a high-end Android phone for the price of a midrange? With today’s deals on the last-gen Google Pixel 7 Pro, you can. Right now, you can buy the unlocked Google Pixel 7 Pro starting at a new all-time low of $479 ($420 off) with 128GB of storage from Amazon in white. Other colors and configurations are also available at record-low prices, with the 256GB model down to $579 ($419 off) at Amazon and the 512GB version going for $653.82 ($446 off). Both of the latter configurations are also on sale at Woot, albeit for $20 more.
Considering the fact the base Pixel 8 is currently $70 more, this is a good deal if you want premium features like a triple array camera system with a 48mp telephoto lens. It’s also a nice deal if you prefer a phone with a larger 6.7-inch display, 12GB of RAM, and more storage.
As an older model, though, be aware there are some tradeoffs. You don’t get the more powerful third-generation Tensor G3 chip and seven years of Android and security updates, for example. The Pixel 8 Pro also offers a better camera and comes with some new perks, like temperature sensors. But if you’re comfortable going without those, this is an excellent phone to buy at this price.
