Forget Dyson – this Shark cordless vacuum cleaner for just AU$217 is the Black Friday vacuum deal I can personally vouch for
We test and review a lot of vacuum cleaners here at TechRadar, so we can attest to the fact that every vacuum manufacturer out there has one key goal in mind: build a device that’s better (or at least as good as) Dyson’s equivalent. Though they’re not as well known as some of the bigger brands that have taken on that challenge (such as Samsung and LG), our testing has found that Shark is one of the best at delivering Dyson-like results – earning three spots in our guide to the best stick vacuums on the market.
Even better, Shark knows that not everyone needs (or can afford) a AU$1,000 vacuum. The economically priced Shark IZ102 is a great example of that even at full price. Now that it’s at its lowest Australian price ever for Black Friday, we think it’s practically a must have.
Featuring as the best budget option in our guide to the best cordless vacuum cleaner for over a year, it officially retails for AU$549, but rarely comes above AU$399. So, while the Dreame U20 has since replaced it as the top cheap option, it’s a lightweight, versatile cleaner that’s perfect for smaller homes.
As mentioned above, while the Shark IZ102 was our long-held pick for the best budget stick vacuum cleaner, that crown now sits on the Dreame U20’s head. Usually retailing for AU$399, the latter is also discounted by 50% on Amazon right now – down to just AU$199. The biggest difference between the two is their weight, with Dreame’s offering coming in at more than 2KG heavier than Shark’s. However, some of that’s down to having a bigger battery that means it will also last 20 minutes longer.
If neither of these budget-friendly options are quite doing it for you, you’re still in luck. Our #1 stick vacuum to buy (also from Shark) is currently reduced by45% on Amazon. It’s a simply incredible cordless vacuum that excels on both carpet and hard floors, it also features a long battery life and a bendable wand to get to hard-to-reach areas. You can grab the Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty System for just AU$655 for a limited time.
