Street Fighter is the latest game franchise to be turned into a new live-action movie

The new film isn’t a total surprise. On April 3rd, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Legendary acquired the film and TV rights to the series. Hopefully, the movie incorporates some of the slick style we’ve seen from the game so far. With the film, Capcom is also the latest company to jump into non-game adaptations of its titles, following the example of Nintendo’s Mario movie as well as PlayStation’s The Last of Us HBO TV show and upcoming Gran Turismo film.
