Netflix Tudum 2025 is over and out

And that’s a wrap! Netflix Tudum 2025 is now over but you can catch up on all the highlights from the show by visiting Netflix’s official YouTube account, streaming the full event on the service itself or by scrolling back through our coverage to get all the biggest streaming news you need to know.
Wednesday season 2 opening scene revealed

Who said nightmares don’t come true? Those are among the first words uttered by Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Adams in the first six minutes of season 2 of the Tim Burton show, which sees our titular character tied up in a serial killer’s basement.
While the opening scene was revealed to fans on stage, it was Lady Gaga’s performance that unsurprisingly stole the show as it confirmed rumors that the singer is set to join the cast in the show’s sophomore outing.
Stranger Things season 5 three-part release schedule confirmed

Stranger Things actors Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapps and Caleb McLaughlin have finally joined the party to bring us our first official update about the final season of the show. Following some behind-the-scenes clips from their time filming the series, Millie Bobby Brown tuned in from the ‘void’ to tell us about her favorite memory from the making of the show.
Before the cast left the stage they gave us one more tape and it’s arguably the most exciting from the evening so far as it gave us a highlight reel of some of the show’s most memorable moments as well as a very brief sneak peek of what’s to come in season 5.
At the end of the clip, Netflix announced the release schedule for the show, confirming rumors that it will be released in three parts. The first will be release on November 26, followed by the second part on December 25 and the finale on December 31. Christmas couldn’t come soon enough.
The official trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 is out

The full trailer for Adam Sandler’s golfer comedy sequel has been revealed and it’s got us tapping out feet to the hit 70s song ‘Magic’ by Pilot.
Sandler will return alongside Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller and Christopher McDonald to reprise their roles, but we’ll also meet new cast members, including Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (aka Bad Bunny), daughters Sadie and Sunny Sandler, and Blake Clark.
Happy Gilmore 2 will stream on Netflix on July 25, 2025.
Guillermo Del Toro reveals the first trailer for Frankenstein

We just got our first look at the long-awaited adaptation of the literary classic Frankenstein from acclaimed director Guillermo Del Toro and if you’re as big of a fan of Oscar Isaac as I am then you’re in for a treat.
This looks like it will absolutely be a smash hit when it arrives and while we still don’t have confirmation about when that will be, it’s slated for a November release.
Netflix’s new crime thriller The Rip has a premiere date
The new crime thriller The Rip looks like it will be a gripping watch going by the brief teaser clip that was just shown. Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t published the video online but we do have the above image of the movie’s leading cast members Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.
The pair will star alongside Steven Yeun, Kyle Chandler, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Sasha Call in the new movie from writer-director Joe Carnahan. We can expect to stream The Rip next year on January 16, 2026.
One Piece season 2 has a new cast member

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of one of the best anime shows, One Piece, is returning with season 2 in 2026 and to build up the excitement the cast of the series has stepped on stage to announce who will be joining the crew.
The fan-favorite character Tony Tony Chopper will be played by none other then actor Mikaela Hoover, who will also perform the facial capture for the adorable human reindeer that’s known as the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery gets a release date

Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig are now in the spotlight (and not just because they have t-shirt guns) with a brief preview of the next chapter of the hit mystery drama Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery to announce the movie’s release date.
The film will stream on Netflix on December 12. It has another all-star cast that includes the aforementioned Craig along with Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church.
Squid Game season 3 trailer unveiled

Squid Game has opened the show with player 456, aka Seong Gi-hun (who’s played by Lee Jung-jae), along with other cast members to unveil the official trailer for the third and final season of the show.
While the two-minute trailer gives us a glimpse at the exciting final chapter, it still leaves plenty of questions around whether player 456 will be able to a stop to the games for good. Indeed, as Jung-jae puts it: “Will the boy doll Cheol-su be nice?” – we’re not counting on it.
Squid Game season 3 will return to Netflix on June 27.
Netflix Tudum 2025 is officially live!

Here we go! We’re on stage with Netflix darling Sofia Carson, from My Oxford Year and The Life List, who is hosting this evening’s event. It’s the first time that Tudum is being live streamed on the platform itself, so it’s great to see that such a large crowd still turned out.
