Just ahead of next week’s rival Prime Day sale from Walmart, the retailer is offering an unbelivable 50% discount on its popular Plus membership. That brings an annual Walmart Plus membership from $98 to just $49, which is an incredible price for all the perks and benefits you’ll receive.
As someone who’s been a Walmart Plus member for years and who uses its services weekly, I can’t sing its praises enough. Walmart Plus perks include unlimited grocery deliveries and free shipping, which is reason enough to sign up. Other benefits include a free Paramount+ or Peacock subscription, free pharmacy delivery, gas discounts, and savings at Burger King.
You can also get early access to sales, which includes next week’s ‘Walmart Deals’ event. To compete with Prime Day, Walmart is launching a seven-day sale starting on Monday, June 22. Your order must be over $35, and you can enter your address on Walmart’s site to check if you’re eligible.
2. Free shipping – no minimum
Just like with an Amazon Prime membership, Walmart Plus members get free two-day and next-day shipping on all orders from Walmart.com – there’s no minimum spend required. This comes in handy around the holiday seasons or if you need a last-minute gift.
3. Paramount Plus subscription
Stream movies and shows on Paramount+ for free when you become a Walmart+ member. You’ll need to sign up for a Paramount Plus account once you’re a Walmart Plus member, and you’ll get access to the free Essential Plan, which is priced at $4.99 a month.
4. Savings on fuel
