We named the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus the best premium Android tablet that you can buy in Australia, thanks to its stunning 12-inch AMOLED display, long battery life and an IP68 dust and waterproof rating.
Our Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus review gave the tablet 4.5 stars for exactly those reasons, but one sticking point was its relatively high RRP of AU$1,799. Thankfully, retailer The Good Guys has slashed the tablet’s price by 51% taking it down to just AU$884, taking care of our price concerns in spades.
Our reviewer called the Tab S10 Plus “the best of both worlds, sitting between a phone and a laptop”, calling the AMOLED display “gorgeous” and its four speakers deliver rich sound to match. You also get an S Pen stylus included in the box — something no iPad offers (if you want an Apple Pencil, it needs to be bought separately). It also has a MicroSD slot for storage expandability, which is increasingly rare in today’s tablet landscape.
While the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor isn’t quite as beefy as the desktop-class Apple Silicon chips that can be in iPad Pros and Airs, our tester found it was more than enough for an all-purpose device.
The tablet’s large size (285.4 x 185.4 x 5.6 mm) may not work for everyone and our reviewer found it’s best handled in landscape mode, but it’s still more manageable to hold than the top-tier 14.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra while providing a generous amount of screen real estate.
