Klipsch is getting back into the hi-fi headphone game
Other than some earbuds, Klipsch hasn’t made any headphones in a number of years. But the company is teasing a big return for 2026 at CES. Klipsch announced its Atlas series, a family of high-end hi-fi headphones that pick up where its Heritage headphone line left off. The HP-1 are a wireless over-ear model with active noise canceling and a lightweight body for long listening sessions. Support for spatial audio formats is also planned.
The HP-2 are closed-back with a bass-forward sound profile. If you want something with a more open soundstage and a more neutral profile, it’s likely the flagship HP-3 that you’ll be eyeing. They feature a semi-open-back design and a thickly cushioned headband with perforated Alcantara ear cups for breathability. The HP-3 even come with their own dedicated headphone stand.
All three models look a lot like their Heritage HP forebears. We’ll have to wait until they start shipping in the summer to know if they sound as good, and unfortunately, Klipsch hasn’t shared pricing yet.
