I’ve used a Mac mini for over a decade now, and it’s still, by far, my favorite mini PC of all time. As powerful and compact as it is, what astounds me most is just how unbelievably affordable it is. And, thanks to Black Friday, you can own the Apple Mac mini (M4) at Best Buy for $479 (was $599).

The M4 Mac Mini is actually the latest and most powerful version of this PC, with an M5 version expected to drop around mid-2026. Given how fast the M4 chip is, we don’t see any reason for waiting around.
The Mac mini is a perfect solution for anyone wanting to use macOS without investing in one of the best MacBooks. This version has removable, modular storage compared to the previous model’s soldered-on components and can therefore be easily upgraded to 512GB if you need to at a later date.
