First up, I always make sure to check that there are solid price guarantees in place at the retailer so I don’t get undercut down the line. Both Newegg and Best Buy have guarantees right now, so they’re two of the better options if you’re shopping early.

Another thing I usually check is whether a product is at a record-low price. That can be tricky for some retailers, but as TechRadar’s retail editor, I usually keep my own records for reference.
