UE’s Wonderboom 4 is great for music lovers, and it’s 34 percent off
If you know someone who always has the perfect playlist queued up, the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 makes for a solid gift. It’s easy to bring to the beach or take with you on a short weekend jaunt, and it produces surprisingly robust sound despite its pint-sized stature. Thankfully, it’s also once again on sale at Amazon and Best Buy for $66.49 (about $32 off) as part of Prime Big Deal Days, dropping it to its second-best price of the year.
Generally speaking, we’re big fans of UE’s wireless speakers, which offer great audio performance, durable designs, and ample portability. The Wonderboom 4, for instance, is roughly the size of a softball and weighs just 420 grams; it also features a built-in loop, allowing you to clip on a carabiner and hook it directly to a bag. That means, with Halloween coming up, you can even carry it around the neighborhood playing spooky sounds while you — or your kids — trick-or-treat.
UE’s fourth-gen speaker provides 360-degree sound thanks to its spherical design, and it can pair with a second Wonderboom 4 to deliver true stereo sound. Despite its smaller build, the USB-C offering also features an estimated 14 hours of battery life, so you won’t have to worry about charging it if you’re away from an outlet all day, as well as an IP67 rating that allows it to withstand dust, dirt, and water. It can even float, giving you peace of mind should you take it to the pool or a nearby watering hole. Its support for Google Fast Pair, which prevents you from having to futz around in Bluetooth menus, is just a plus.
